Tamarind, tonka bean, patchouli, golden amber, and white fig.

In decant: the first thing that went into my head when I sniffed this is the word "confusing". It's tamarind, but instead of feeling tropical, it's more of a "cool" tamarind. There are hints of the creamy tonka as well.

Teak, ebony wood, osmanthus, patchouli, red sandalwood, vanilla orchid, tonka bean, tobacco, wild musk, spikenard, and sugandh kokila.

I love my wonderful fairy!

In bottle: ok, that was a rather sharp first whiff. Um. Sarsaparilla, and a hint of cocoa. The sarsaparilla is almost screaming. Whoa there.

Ash bark, Kashmir wood, tonka bean, clary sage, Spanish moss, cocoa absolute, King mandarin, galangal root, and matcha tea.

In decant: ohhh. This is amazing. Woody green bark and tonka. I think I get a bit of the cocoa, and when I retested with my usual amount for wearing, I do get the cocoa a bit more, with mandarin. Masculine, sexy and refined. ( Read more... )

A mélange of silvery musk, iris, licorice root, black currant, apple blossom, patchouli root, violet, heliotrope, anise, and tonka bean.

In decant - definitely patchouli, with a slightly fruity tone. Dirt--although I usually just get "dirt" from patchouli anyway. Dark and herbal--maybe the anise? Also powdery to my nose.
